When trying to register a new user, I am getting the error in the subject line. I register my users using an explicit registration policy. If I look at the log on my computer I see the following messages:
12/08/2009 06:45:03 AM Registration settings for the policy */CompanyXYZ could not be retrieved or do not exist. No registration policy settings have been applied.
12/08/2009 06:45:28 AM New recovery info successfully updated in ID file for Lori Krouse/CompanyXYZ
12/08/2009 06:45:28 AM ID containing new recovery information for Lori Krouse/CompanyXYZ marked for backup
12/08/2009 06:45:42 AM Failed to authenticate with server Server1/CompanyXYZ: This server does not have the vault. A referral was returned.
12/08/2009 06:45:43 AM Failed to authenticate with server Server3/CompanyXYZ: Specified private key does not exist
12/08/2009 06:45:44 AM ID upload to the Notes ID Vault failed.
12/08/2009 06:47:07 AM Registration settings for the policy */CompanyXYZ could not be retrieved or do not exist. No registration policy settings have been applied.
Now I don't have a registration policy setup in the Organizational Policy, which is probably why I am getting the 1st message, because I am using an explicit reg. policy.
I'm hoping someone can shed some light as to why this is happening. I don't believe anything has changed in my environment.
